At the recent AGM of the club, Mark Brown was elected to be the new First Team captain for 2026.
Mark, who played for the club as a junior, has been a consistently high run scorer for the club, last season scoring 705 league runs at an average of 54.23. He takes on a team looking to rebuild after a poor 2025 in which the team narrowly avoided relegation.
Barrow’s 2nd XI will continue to be led by Peter Rooney, supported by vice-captain Ben Skuse.
