Colin Fletcher, newly appointed Sunday Captain, faces a visit to the park of Oldbury Court with the Sunday team who have been drawn to play Bristol Bangladeshis in the season opener.
Last year’s game saw Barrow struggle on the park wicket whilst the Bangladeshis flourished with the bat making one of the highest scores of the season at their home ground with their captain kissing the turf having made a hard-hitting century.
Guy Fisher though made a fighting 88 to give the home side something to worry about as he continued his progress to his 1,000 run season, but the result was never in doubt. Barrow though were able to win the return fixture at Hobbs Lane.
