Barrow Gurney CC is looking forward to playing at a new venue on their summer cricket tour. Exmouth CC will play host to Barrow at their picturesque ground in the opening game, before the tour continues with games against regular opponents Torquay CC, Abbotskerswell CC and concluding with a fixture at Shoebrooke Park.
Organised by Rod Reeves, the tour runs from 18th to 21st July and the team will, as in recent years, be based at the Brampton Court Hotel in Torquay which offers a unique style of hospitality to the weary cricketer.
Players young and old will be taking part in a fun and relaxing week enjoying the evening delights of the English Riviera as well as some friendly but competitive cricket. All connected with the club are welcome to take part in some or all of the week, and Rod will be pleased to take any bookings.
