At the recent Annual General Meeting of the Club, Barrow Gurney have appointed Connor Jones as the new First Team Captain for next season, he succeeds Frank Forge who has stood down after 4 years at the helm.

All rounder Connor, had a particularly successful season with the ball taking 17 wickets at an average of just over 20. He has captained Barrow junior teams in the past and takes on a side which is still improving and which narrowly missed out on the promotion spots in Div 5 last year.
He will be assisted by Jason Cryans as vice-captain. Jason enjoyed his first season at Hobbs Lane last year opening the batting with great consistency averaging over 40 across the season.

Peter Rooney and Mark Gracey continue to lead the Second XI which enjoyed a good finish to the season.
As the club continues to recruit new players an exciting 2023 is in prospect!
