With the sun shining over the reservoirs, it was time to forget that only last week Hobbs Lane was covered in snow. A few faithful helpers gathered on Sunday to start the process of getting the ground ready for the season.
For some of us it was our first chance to see the newly refurbished scorer’s hut, and the new female changing room which is close to completion. For others a chance to admire the early season views.
There is still some work to do so members are asked to keep a look out for further requests for help. The ground remains very wet and with the first pre-season friendly only 3 weeks away the chances of play very much depend on having some dry weather!
